On 29 April 2026 Hart District Council published a Notice of intention to commence plan preparation. This is the official 'starting gun' for the development of a new Local Plan. On the same day, the Council also published its timetable for producing the new Local Plan, which sets out the key stages of the process and explains when and how residents, stakeholders and other interested parties can get involved.
